The Yelangu A17 Gimbal Tripod Head is a specialized mount for heavy telephoto lenses. Gimbal heads are primarily used for wildlife, birding and sports photography – any time you will be photographing for long time periods and don’t want to tire yourself out holding a heavy lens. A17 will support up to 30 lbs/13.6kg.
The smooth motion, which can be finely tuned, keeps your lens stable and fluid to capture all the exciting action! A17 Gimbal will mount on any tripod via 1/4”-20 or 3/8”-20 screw.
LARGE, EASY GRIP ADJUSTMENT KNOBS
A17 Gimbal features large, finely threaded adjustment knobs so you can easily adjust and control your lens and camera. Separate knobs are used for tilt and rotation. The large knobs are easy to handle with gloves, which makes A17 Gimbal great for winter photography, as well.
HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE TO BALANCE ALMOST ANY LENS
The lens mount slides vertically so you can find the perfect balance point – your lens stays in position without over-tightening the adjustment knob. A scale is marked so you can record positions for different lenses.
SEPARATE PANNING CONTROL
Rotation/panning is controlled by a dedicated knob. A full 360° rotation is available and a scale with indicator arrow is printed on the base of the gimbal.
ARCA SWISS COMPATIBLE PLATE INCLUDED
An Arca Swiss compatible plate, machined from aluminum, is included. The plate features non-slip rubber pads and anti-slide screws to prevent accidents. A 3/8”-20 adapter is included.
